Cheryl Ho
Cheryl Ho is an award winning Singaporean Chinese Actor, Writer, Voice Over Artist, Facilitator, and Multidisciplinary Creator. She is the Co-founder and Co-creator of newly formed collective MASHH.
She works on creative projects that often involve humour, drama and a healthy dose of introspection. Her mission is to bring care, creativity and inclusion into everyday spaces.
After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2018 (BFA Acting), Cheryl worked with Australia's leading Theatre companies like Sydney Theatre Company WHITE PEARL, Melbourne Theatre Company CYBEC ELECTRIC and Malthouse HELLO WORLD. And Singapore Theatre companies like The Necessary Stage Survivor Singapore and Playwrights Cove.
Her most recent work includes ‘Caught In Between’ which premiered at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2024, I Am Seaweed at Theatreworks for the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2023 and Do Rhinos Feel Their Horns? (or can they not see them like how we can't see our noses) by Gangguan! at Centre 42 in Singapore and Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Summerhall.

Cheryl wrote and performed in her latest One Woman show, I Am Seaweed, presented by MASHH & Theatre Works. The show premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2023 and was nominated for Best in Theatre and listed as one of the Fringe Judge’s picks.
Her previous one woman show she wrote and performed in 落叶归根(Luò yè guī gēn) Getting Home, was awarded 4 awards at Melbourne Fringe 2020 (Best in Theatre, Best Emerging Writer, Best Emerging Producer and New Zealand Tour Ready award), 2 Green Room Awards in 2021 (Performer and Production) and the Scenesavers Best Digital Event at Brighton Fringe Festival 2022.
Cheryl was the former Director of Special Projects at Artwave Studio where she conceptualised, wrote, pitched and performed in original works. Projects include A Call Away, a phone call encounter (Singapore Writers Festival). A Piece of Home, an audio-installation co-created with students for the ExxonMobil Campus Concerts programme. You're Invited, an interactive online experience on Gathertown (Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts). Artist's Block, an audio-trail at Stamford Art's Centre (Artshouse Limited). Her final work was an experiential lab, The Self-Compassion Lab, activated at Design Orchard and Somerset Youth Park in November 2022.
Cheryl has worked alongside Leisa Shelton on SCRIBE at Dance Massive and “Threads that Bind”, with a focus on community and cultural practice. She was an associate artist with VIMH and was mentored by MILKE in producing.

Cheryl is passionate about wellness, accessibility and Artist Advocacy. In 2022, she took part in Common Ground’s Creating Narratives for Change, Singapore TikTok Youth For Good Programme, Youth Co:lab Summit, ART:DIS x DADC Inclusive Dance Masterclass, ART:DIS X Equal Dreams Access & Inclusion Masterclass, Speech to Text Interpreting and is currently studying and SgSL.
